F#@K You, Pinterest - OR - Thank You, Pinterest?

Pinterest, (the pinboard-style photo-sharing website), may seem like a social place for women to just organize, create lists and share DIY projects...or as Pinterest.com says;
"Pinterest is a tool for collecting and organizing the things that inspire you."

I believe that there is a greater purpose to this site, and it all goes back to pleasing men.  It is obvious that Pinterest was created to keep woman busy doing lengthy solo projects, regardless how ridiculous each task may seem, just so that men could just do their own thing.  Like, enjoying sports, scratching their crotch, walking the dog...

Yes, those were all euphemisms for "warming up the altar boy's dinner."

Most PINS, (postings on Pinterest), look amazing, but often the first attempt is a total meltdown.

Grandpa is very supportive with whatever the heck Grandma may be so busy doing.
If at first she doesn't succeed, then that is AWESOME, as she will probably try again, or move onto another project!  Leaving more time for the guy to read some movie reviews.

My Mom & niece's "Candy Plate For Cookies" broke while cooling.  Time to redo it!
One of my friends redid her headboard, inspired by a PIN post.  It seemed like it would have been a tricky one, but in the end, it looked awesome.  She posted her results online and said;
"The worst was sanding it down... everything else was easy-ish."
However, if my memory is correct, she tried a similar task on something else, and it did not turn out as well.  So this project kept her busy, so that her boyfriend could also continue to be busy.

I doubt that most DIY projects end well on the very first try.  That is why starting on something less important to you, may help you get a happy ending from all of your projects.

My own Pinterest page is filled with compelling PINS!
So I have figured out how to keep the ladies busy...now I just need to figure out how to get them to have sex with me?  (A few more columns like this, and I am in!!!)
